Design process of tower structure is started by designing a tower structure based on the height requirement obtained from ray trace analysis.

Tower solar energy can be integrated into coal-fired power plants to improve the utilization level of solar energy, as it can heat the working medium to more than 500 ℃. Research on the use of tower solar energy in this context is worthwhile.
Extensive literatures have indicated that the better the higher-grade extraction steam is replaced by solar energy, the improved thermal performance would be in a tower solar aided coal-fired power plant. Therefore, the saved extraction steam from high-pressure cylinders continues to expand in the turbine to generate power.
