After changing these settings, upload the profile to the BMS. This should eliminate issues caused by total pack voltage sensor calibration drift.
However, when I measure the voltage across the BMS P- cable and the Battery Pack's positive terminal, I am only getting 47V even though the pack measures 58V. I read that the BMS output is supposed to match the pack output, but can't think of anything I did wrong.
The total voltage of a battery pack is determined by the number of cells connected in series. For example, the total (string) voltage of 6 cells connected in series will be the sum of their individual voltages. In order to increase the current capability of the battery capacity, more strings have to be connected in parallel.
